Am slowly getting sucked into Harry Potter 6 obsession. Am thinking of little else these days. Have told friends to lay off this weekend since will shut myself off from society. Will lock myself into bedroom and speed read my advance copy booked two months ago. Am constantly worrying about how to get through next four days. Am re-reading two-year-old stories in Guardian on HP and OOTP. (Just came across brilliant review of OOTP -- go read).

Hello, just thought I'd tell you that I enjoy your blog. It gave me happy wasteful two hours at work yesterday, especially since the template looks most text heavy and intellectual and you can sorta scroll up and hide the title so people think you're doing heavy research :) Btw, do bookshops in Bangalore open at 6.30 am on D-Day (July 16, ie) too?
Hey eM, I am a closet reader of your blog too (closet because have never posted a comment on it but will do so now with great gusto) and enjoy it immensely. Have also spent many enjoyable hours browsing through it that should have been employed in producing meaningful journalism.
Ok, so much for the mutual admiration society. I can almost hear Jabberwock sniggering in the background. As for HBP, am planning to land up at Crossword at 6 am whether they open the bookshop or not! If you are doing the same, lets exchange notes on Monday?
